La Llorona is a short original film that will premiere at Artefest November 1st & 2nd on Dìa de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead.)

Summary:

The blood of immigrant children floods the rivers of South America, Mexico, and the US; innocent blood that has begun to fuel the dark powers of La Llorona, the Goddess of the Damned.  Jesùs, a Soul Fisher and the last of his kind, has long protected the souls from La Llorona by guiding them to Heaven’s Door every year on Dìa de los Muertos.  This year, however, Jesùs will die before the clock strikes midnight; leaving this world with an impossible proposition:  Either protect the children or be damned to a fate worse than death.
